Cape Creatives officially kicked off today. And by kicked off, we mean there's a short blog post and unpopulated Facebook page. The name is still a work in progress, too. 

There is no set-in-stone description or agenda for the collective at this point. In short, we just look to give local creatives a chance to connect in a casual environment. A place for professionals, hobbyists and students alike. In the future, the group could grow into a more grandiose and magnificent job and content creation circle, but today it's simply an opportunity for us to hang out.

Our first meet up will be February 2 at 6:00pm.
We'll meet in the letterpress area of Catapult Creative House in downtown Cape. 612 Broadway. Catapult has a visiting artist that evening: Nicole Hand-Bryant of Murray State University.

We'll hang out at Catapult and hear Nicole's talk (it's a cool place if you haven't checked it out before) then any interested will move the conversation down to Broadway Biergarten.
